The driver of the second vehicle involved in a fatal crash in Lafayette has been identified.
Jamie Earl Gray, 48, of Lafayette, was released from the hospital following the September 23 crash that happened in the 5700 block of Ambassador Caffery Pkwy. He was booked into the Lafayette Parish Jail on the charges of OWI, vehicular homicide and issued several traffic citations.
Police say Tanoka Janezich, 39, was pronounced dead at the scene. A child riding in her car suffered minor to moderate injuries.
Two other passengers inside Gray’s vehicle suffered minor injuries.
