A lot goes into those perfect Instagram photos. You need the right background, the right angle, the right filter … and for one man, an investment of $55,000. That’s how much Australian millionaire Matthew Lepre, the founder of Ecom Warrior Academy, is offering to pay a personal photographer to go with him on his around-the-world travels and snap pictures for his Instagram account.
The 27-year-old entrepreneur posted the job ad on Instagram (naturally) and said the full-time role didn’t require any experience or even an expensive camera. In fact, all the person needs is a smartphone. Lepre also said he would cover all expenses and provide proper training and equipment. And his future photographer could even bring a friend along for the ride.

In an interview with the Daily Mail, Lepre, who is based in Sydney when he’s not globetrotting, said he was willing to pay the perfect candidate $55,000.
“During the past year alone I have managed to grow my business while traveling to UAE, Indonesia, USA, New Zealand, Italy, France, Spain, Switzerland and Thailand and up until now, have relied on my best friend to be there to take photos on his phone,” Lepre told the Daily Mail. “My business has now expanded rapidly and I need my mate, Mitch, to be there to work in other areas so I’m now putting the open call out to the world for someone to be there to fill this role.”
“My life has become pretty hectic,” he added. “Just a few weeks ago I was asked by a leading TV station in Milan to come for an interview so had to drop everything and hop on a plane and travel across the other side of the world three days later. The selected person for this role would need to be flexible with their life and be able to join me, too, on my crazy schedule that could take me anywhere, anytime.”
Based on a scroll through his Instagram account, you could easily find yourself snapping photos in exotic places like sunny Thailand …
