The Town of Gueydan will implement a curfew for Friday, July 12.
Mayor Jude Reese says that the curfew is set from 9:00 pm to 5:00 am and is to ensure safety for residents as Tropical Storm Barry makes landfall along the Louisiana coast.
Officials say they are ready for Barry's arrival and will move into the recovery process as soon the storm passes.
