Quiet pattern continues; Front still on track to arrive next week

Another pleasant evening and night temperature-wise across Acadiana as overnight lows into Sunday morning drop back into the mid 60s under mainly clear skies.

Warm and humid conditions can be expected into Sunday afternoon as highs top out in the mid to upper 80s.

A drier atmosphere will continue to be in place, so rain chances will sit no better than 10%. Mainly sunny skies will persist.

Monday will start out quiet, but clouds and storms will look to build in later on in the day in response to our first cold frontal passage of the season.

Severe weather is not expected with the storms that develop out ahead of the front, but some heavy rainfall and gusty winds will be possible.

Drier, cooler air will filter in behind the front overnight Monday into Tuesday paving the way for very pleasant temperatures and plenty of blue skies for the remainder of next week.

A reinforcing front will move in later on into next week which will ensure that the nicer, fall-like weather will persist into next weekend. Enjoy!

In the tropics: No new developments expected in at least the next 5 days.
