It’s a pretty standard forecast for late June with hot, humid conditions giving way to a few scattered showers by the end of the morning.
A few thunderstorms will be possible with rain chances sitting around 40% and a couple of those storms may end up on the strong side.
The biggest issue is going to be lightning and gusty winds, but the storms should stay below severe criteria.
A layer of Saharan Dust has moved into Acadiana which will make it a very hazy day when the clouds are cleared.
There’s not much change in the forecast for the rest of the week, which will continue to see showers and storms popping up sporadically.
The haze will likely stick around for a while, as well, and it doesn’t look like it’ll clear until we get closer to the weekend.
