Continuous News and Weather for Acadiana

Quiet forecast coming up this week

After a very wet weekend Acadiana is finally getting a chance to dry out with a quiet forecast coming up this week.

The sun will be out in full force on Monday, but despite a cloud free day temperatures will be kept in check (especially considering it’s mid May).

Highs will run in the low 80s and humidity will stay low for the first half of the work week, making for a beautiful forecast.

As the skies stay clear the lows will be down in the low 60s and even upper 50s for areas that are north of the interstate.

The majority of the work week will stay quiet with temperatures slowly warming up for the later part of the week.
