Continuous News and Weather for Acadiana

Tornado Watch issued until 3:00 pm

A Tornado WATCH has been issued for all of Acadiana through 3:00 pm as we continue to see storms move east across the region.

Conditions are favorable for the development of small, isolated tornadoes so make sure that you are staying weather aware.

Intense thunderstorms will continue through the rest of the morning before we start to see the weather easing up in the afternoon.

There is little change to the overall forecast and it looks like there won’t be any weather related issues with Festival this evening.
