Temperatures slowly start warming up

The latest round of winter in Acadiana is coming to an end and temperatures will start to warm up a little over the next few days.

It’ll still be a chilly start Thursday but winds will gradually start to turn and come from the south allowing temperatures to move into the low 60s.

Clouds will be the dominant feature once again similar to the sky cover on Wednesday although clouds won’t translate into any kind of rain.

Outside of an isolated shower along the coast it’ll be another quiet day, although as temperatures warm up later this weekend the forecast becomes a little more unsettled.

Rain chances are going to increase over the weekend sitting around the 40-50% range for both Saturday and Sunday.

The unsettled, warmer weather will linger all the way through into early next work week.
