Gray skies continue for Thursday

Posted

The forecast this weekend is taking a turn for the worst and you can find more details on that here, in the meantime we’ve got Thursday and Friday to get through first.

Thursday is promising to once again to bring gray skies, with little hope for any sunshine outside of a brief window in the late afternoon.

Even if that window opens up it won’t be open for long as clouds are expected to build back across Acadiana Thursday night.

Temperatures have steadily been warming the last few days, and with winds finally out of the south on Thursday they’ll be up in the low 70s by the afternoon.

Gusty winds coming off the Gulf of Mexico will help feed some of that cloud cover along with the warmer conditions.

This sets the stage for another cloudy and warm day to wrap up the work week, with the main round of weather eventually arriving on Saturday. Again you can find those details here.
