Continuous News and Weather for Acadiana

Sunshine continues as week rolls along

It feels a little more like January outside than it did earlier this week, and a cold start will lead to a chilly afternoon across Acadiana.

Plenty of sunshine again on Thursday with a very quiet forecast for south Louisiana, as we start to wrap up the work week.

Temperatures will be sitting in the 50s through the afternoon with a light breeze coming in from the north around 5-10 mph.

The weather will remain quiet through the night and Friday, with a few more clouds migrating in for the end of the week.

Light showers will arrive on Saturday bringing in a round of rain for Acadiana that won’t last into Sunday, but could bring some soggy conditions for the first half of the week.
