Fall is just around the corner

Posted

Fall is almost here, at times this summer it felt like it would never cool down, but our first round of cool crisp weather is around the corner.

Tuesday, however, will still be a sticky tropical forecast with widely scattered showers along with warm, sticky conditions.

Mostly cloudy skies, with a few patches of sunshine, will produce widely scattered showers and thunderstorms across Acadiana.

This means you’ll need to be prepared for the occasional downpour and even a thunderstorm or two, but nothing that should be too problematic.

The front is expected to move through on Wednesday with the temperatures getting cooler and crisper on Thursday, and maybe even 50s by Friday morning.
