Summer continues here in Acadiana, not just because of temperatures but really the overall weather pattern which looks very much like it does most summer.
It shouldn’t be a surprise then that it will be a hot, humid day with a chance for isolated showers down along the coastline.
The heat index will sit in the triple digits through the afternoon, reaching to around 100-103 during the hottest part of the day.
This is going to be the case again for Wednesday before a slight increase in rain chances toward the end of the week, but even then it’s the summer time air-mass thunderstorms we typically see.
There doesn’t even seem to be any relief from this pattern in the long range forecast either, the next ten or so days looks to be the same type forecast.
