Soggy weather continues for another day

The front that has garnered a lot of the headlines for the better part of the week is finally here, and well, I have good news and bad news.

Good news is that the front is here, bad news is we will get all the unsettled weather of a front but none of the actually crisp, cool temperatures.

While there may be a slight dip in temperatures, we won’t feel much of a difference and the humidity will keep the heat index higher than one would like in late September.

Showers and a few thunderstorms will also be making an appearance through the rest of the day, not necessarily continuous rain but more on again/off again.

Despite the fact that it has been a wet week and more rain expected, flooding won’t be a major issue with fairly standard rain totals.

It’s impossible to predict exactly when and where the showers will pop up, so be prepared for it through the remainder of your day.

No severe or even overly problematic weather is expected but that’s not to say that there won’t be an occasional rumble of thunder or flash of lightning.

The biggest issue will be moments of very heavy rain that could lead to short lived, minor flooding in the usual problem areas.

This would be a good day to just keep a radar handy especially if you’ll be out and about running errands.
