Summer just keeps on rolling along with no signs of easing or giving up, or even really hinting that there could be a season other then summer.

This isn’t unique or different from most years but as social media starts to hail the arrival of fall just remember that Mother Nature keeps a different calendar then that of Facebook and Twitter.

There’s been a surge of moisture from the Gulf of Mexico into the atmosphere which has sparked showers and storms across south Louisiana.

Again there is nothing unique or different about these storms and it’ll be these kinds of storms that we deal with through the rest of the work week.

Anyone who is out and about around lunch and in the early afternoon should prepare for the occasional and be on the look out for lightning.

No truly nefarious weather is expected and most storms can be waited out over the course of maybe 20 minutes before it passes.

Temperatures will be hot and muggy, although some extra clouds and showers will help a little with the highs and at least offer 20 minutes of relief.

This will be the forecast basically for the rest of the work week.
