August is a pretty unrelenting month, it’s hot, humid, with the occasional shower, it’s like this day in and day out whether anyone is a fan of it or not.
It’s as if summer is a house guest who has overstayed its welcome but somehow continues to not get the hint that it’s time to pack up and make the living room available for fall.
It’s a month that poses a yearly challenge to any forecaster in how many different ways they can say the exact same thing.
So lets strap in do our best to wipe the sweat up, which we all know is impossible, and get ready for a weekend with heat, humidity, and the occasional shower.
If on Saturday you find yourself thinking, “wow this weather is remarkably similar to Friday”, that’s because it is essentially the exact same forecast.
The highs will get up into the 90s with the heat index pushing through beyond the century mark and every now and then a rumble of thunder will signal that someone is getting a little rain.
Showers will start to pop up around lunch time and continue through into the evening, there will be no rhyme or reason to where the showers pop up so just be on the look out for them both Saturday and Sunday.
The rain chances will stay scattered into the work week which will provide more of the same weather we’ve had for roughly three months.
