High pressure remains in control, and another push of cooler, drier air is sliding over the region. This has allowed most areas to drop into the mid to upper 40s this morning under clear skies. Sunshine is going to return again today with highs struggling to the 70 degree mark. Wind speeds will be brisk again today out of the north at 15-20 mph.
Another chilly night is expected as lows will drop into the upper 40s again, winds will be light. Sunny skies for Thursday with highs back in the mid to upper 70s.
Toward the weekend, a push of warm, moist air will return off of the Gulf of Mexico in response to low pressure building to our west. It looks like a front will settle in the area over the weekend allowing a better chance for showers and storms with highs back in the low to mid 80s.
