A little drier air has pushed into the area and as a result we're off to an absolute great start to the day on Wednesday with temperatures running a little cooler then you would expect them to in late May.
Despite the drier air though there's still the possibility of some showers and storms through the middle of the day, although not expecting them to be anywhere near what they were the last few days.
Storms will stay isolated and will be clearing up in the late afternoon allowing the sunshine to return in time for the evening, and to help warm temperatures into the upper 80s.
This will set the stage for a steady warm up over the next couple of days and as we get into the weekend we'll start seeing the highs sitting in the 90s with more consistency and even a string of drier days through next week.
