and last updated

Showers and storms continue to slide eastward across Acadiana south of a frontal boundary draped across Central Louisiana.

Per Predictive Radar, activity will likely continue with rain chances 80% or better through at least 10 pm Wednesday night as the frontal boundary slides southward this evening.

Rainfall totals could be up to 2-4″ in spots, leading to localized street flooding in areas this afternoon into the evening hours.

Per latest trends, a few isolated areas of rainfall greater than 5″ will be possible, leading to more serious flooding wherever cells tend to “train” over the same areas.
