A break from the rain this Tuesday, while a few pop up showers emerged, it hasn’t been the widespread consistent rain we’ve been dealing with for the better part of a week.
The break will be short lived, however, with a surge of moisture moving in across Acadiana the rain chances will be back up again for the middle of the work week.
Widespread showers will back with at least half of Acadiana getting a decent soaking starting in some areas mid to late morning and lasting through into the evening.
As has been the case this month the showers won’t be continuous, they will come and go and at times be capable of producing at times some impressive downpours.
The added clouds means it won’t be as hot as we got on Tuesday which is one of the benefits of this wet stretch we’ve had since the beginning of July.
Rain will continue in a similar fashion into Thursday but should ease up by the time we arrive at the weekend.
