It’s shaping up to be another hot one Thursday with little to nothing offering any relief from the heat with another very sunny afternoon on tap across south Louisiana.
It’ll be another dry and even with a slight uptick in atmospheric moisture the rain chances will remain virtually at zero, struggling even to produce an afternoon shower.
Moisture will pile up over the next several days, however, so the daily pop up showers we get through the summer time will start to return over the weekend and into next week.
In the meantime make sure that you’re drinking plenty of water if you’ll be outside for extended periods of time and try to avoid the peak heating during the day when temperatures are the hottest.
