Prep work is currently underway at all eight Love Our Schools sites in Lafayette Parish.
Twenty volunteers are needed at each school on Friday, August 9 in order to prepare for the Saturday, August 10 event.
Those wanting to lend a hand are encouraged to Just show up to help make a difference and set the stage for Saturday's big "Love Our Schools event."
The following schools are in need of volunteers today and tomorrow: Alice Boucher, Acadian Middle, Carencro Heights, Carencro High, Lafayette Middle, Lerosen Prep, Northside, J.W. Faulk.

On Saturday, August 10, thousands of volunteers will be out at eight Lafayette Parish schools for this year's Love Our Schools initiative.
KATC has partnered with the Love Our Schools Foundation to help bring some much needed improvements to those schools.
Donations and volunteers are still welcomed before Saturday's big event. The work list includes projects like paint touch ups and updates to playground equipment.
