Maurice, La. - On Friday afternoon, parts of Maurice lost power for about an hour. Maurice Mayor Neil Arsement tells KATC that after the city’s Energy company set up a pole on Thursday, they noticed the pole had a crack.
Following this discovery, the energy company decided to replace the pole on Friday which resulted in loss of power.
The power is currently restored.
