Lafayette native Rex Moroux, possibly better known locally as a musician and/or real estate agent, is scheduled to appear on Jeopardy this afternoon.
Moroux moved back home eight years ago after spending several years working as a musician in central Europe. Now he’s married with three kids, and living in Acadiana, where he grew up. Moroux is a graduate of St. Thomas More and UL.
Moroux describes his experience on Jeopardy as "surreal."
"Alex Trebek is about as iconic as it gets," he says.
He also mentions that the magic was not lost going behind the scenes and the set appears just as it really looks like on TV.
Moroux will compete on Jeopardy today airing at 3 pm on KATC.
