Two people were arrested in connection with a string of vehicle burglaries at an oilfield business in Jennings.
Deputies say 23-year-old Dominick James Sittig of Welsh and 18-year-old Kenneth Trevor Lee of Jennings were arrested after a traffic stop by Lake Arthur Police uncovered several reportedly stolen items.
According to the department, the recovered items were reported stolen from several vehicles at the National Oilwell Varco in Jennings on June 17.
Deputies say that during the stop they observed one of the suspects wearing the same shirt as one he was seen wearing on surveillance video of the burglaries.
Sittig and Lee were arrested and booked on charges of four counts simple burglary, criminal damage to property and criminal trespass.
Both are held in the Jeff Davis Parish Jail without bond.
