KATC’s Tools for Schools delivered to Carencro Heights Elementary this week.
Teacher Precious Boudreaux asked KATC and Tools for Schools for a Portable Camera to help with during math.
Boudreaux says that the document camera will help students share their own strategies during class, providing a better way for students to teach one another.
“Right now, if I wanted to share anything I have on paper or in my book with my students, I have to write or draw it on the board. It’s very time consuming and I don’t have a way to allow the students to share with each other,” Boudreaux said.
The document camera will be able to connect to Boudreaux’s Promethean board and allow her to project different math strategies/skills to the students in her class.
