When you have little kids, bedtime can be a constant battle. Whether they want a snack, another story or have to use the bathroom, kids always seem to have a handy excuse to delay going to sleep. If bedtime is a constant battle in your house, help could be on the way courtesy of your kids’ favorite Disney pals.
From now until Sept. 30, kids can call 1-877-7-MICKEY and hear a special goodnight message from Mickey Mouse, Woody, Jasmine, Anna and Elsa, Yoda or Spider-Man. These special goodnight phone calls will have your kiddos actually looking forward to bedtime!
If you still need a little extra help getting your little ones to bed, the Disney Store and shopdisney.com have just launched a new Sleep Shop featuring a huge range of adorable pajamas, snuggly plushes, blankets and slippers, plus a new subscription program that might just be that bedtime game-changer you’ve been looking for.
The Disney Bedtime Adventure Box is a new subscription box that is available monthly, quarterly, or semi-annually, for a cost as low as $27.99 for the basic box or $54.99 for the deluxe box.
Here’s how it works.
Decide When You Want The Box to Arrive
Christmas, a birthday or other holiday is the perfect time to begin a subscription for the little one in your life.
Choose A Character To Customize The Box
You can pick from a selection of main characters for each box (presumably the ones that will appear on the actual pajamas). Current choices include Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Forky and Bo Peep, along with holiday versions of Mickey and Minnie.
In the coming months, options will feature Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Lucasfilm (“Star Wars”) characters.
Select A Basic Or Deluxe Bedtime Adventure Box
The basic box costs $27.99 per month for an annual subscription and includes pajamas, a storybook, story-inspired stickers, bedtime activity cards, a reward chart to track bedtime progress, and a special offer redeemable on your next Disney Store or shopDisney purchase.
The Deluxe Bedtime Adventure Box is $54.99 per month for an annual subscription and includes everything in the basic box, plus two to three additional goodies, like a pillow, blanket, towel, bath toy or plush (a $70 or greater value!).
Other Newly Released Disney Subscription Boxes
Lest you think kids get all the fun, there’s another new Disney subscription box that has grown-up Disney fans lining up.
The Disney Backstage Collection gives subscribers the chance to get their hands on limited-edition Disney merchandise unavailable anywhere else. In your welcome box you’ll receive a limited-edition T-shirt featuring original Disney artwork reading “Disney Brothers Studio,” a collectible Disney pin, a behind-the-scenes story card and a retro keepsake canister. Here’s what the items in the welcome box will look like:
Each month will be a mystery until it arrives, so you never know what you’re going to get! All merchandise, though, will be retired as soon as they sell out. You can get this subscription for $34.99 a month and each month it will come in a different keepsake canister.
Princess Subscription Box
Do you have young princess fans in the house? We thought you might.
For aspiring princesses, there’s also a Disney Princess Enchanted Collection subscription box. It comes with a Disney princess dress, a book, an exclusive video greeting from a princess, a shopDisney or Disney Store special offer, and other activities and surprises.
You’ll choose from select princesses every month, including Cinderella, Jasmine, Aurora, Rapunzel, Snow White, Ariel, Moana, Tiana, Merida, Mulan, Pocahontas and Belle. You can get this box for $47.99, but there’s also a deluxe version at $74.99, with more than $100 in value.
Here’s the Rapunzel box (long hair not included!):
And here’s the Princess Aurora box, which comes with its very own Maleficent doll:
With the holidays coming up, a subscription could be the perfect gift that keeps on giving for the Disney fan in your life. Which one do you like the best?
