The Breaux Bridge Chief Of Police sustained an injury Tuesday morning during a training exercise.
According to Sheriff Becket Breaux, Breaux Bridge Chief Albert LeBlanc has been treated and released from a local hospital.
The incident happened around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, when LeBlanc was wounded when his weapon accidentally discharged.
All this happened at the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office Shooting Range.
