UPDATE: Power has been restored to Grolee, Northeast, and Park Vista Elementary Schools. All St. Landry Parish schools will be open for in-person learning.

According to officials, school will remain closed on Friday. Power has yet to be restored.

St. Landry Parish public schools will reopen Friday except for the following:
-Grolee Elementary
-Northeast Elementary
-Park Vista Elementary
Teachers at the three elementary schools will upload lessons and assignments to Google Classroom for students to access remotely where possible.
Pre-K registration for the three elementary schools will take place at the St. Landry Parish School Board Resource Center.
Officials are asking parents to come at their scheduled appointment time.
