ST. LANDRY PARISH — Louisiana State Police confirmed to KATC that Gerald Green, an Opelousas Deputy City Marshal, has been booked with sexual battery following an investigation into allegations against him.
According to Louisiana State Police, an investigation revealed Greene, who serves as a community liaison for the Elderly Awareness Program, was involved in an incident that occurred on or around March 27, 2024, in Opelousas. The victim reported that Green committed the offense during a workplace interaction.
Greene has been booked into the St. Landry Parish Jail on a sexual battery charge and misdemeanor sexual battery.
