LAFAYETTE (KATC) — The Louisiana Men's and Women's Basketball teams hosted the inaugural Fan Jam at Earl K. Long gym on Tuesday evening.
Fans were able to eat from local vendors outside, meet coaches and players from both teams and watch the Men and Women's teams battle in competitions.
In the skills competition, UL Women's freshman forward Bre Porter beat UL Men's senior guard PJ Hardy in the championship.
The Ladies also won the 3 point contest, with junior guard Skyler Goodwin draining freshman guard Javonne Lowery.
The Cajuns Men begin their season November 5th, hosting Loyola of New Orleans. The Cajuns Women have the first of 2 exhibition games October 28th vs Mississippi College, before their season officially begins November 7th against Loyola of New Orleans.
