LAFAYETTE (KATC) — In his final press conference Wednesday first year head coach Billy Napier finally committed to Andre Nunez as the team’s starter, a decision that felt apparent leading into the week.
Napier was steadfast that Lewis and Nunez will both play, but would not elaborate on how the two will split reps.
The Cajuns play Grambling State. It will be the first meeting between these two programs. Combine that with Napier’s first game in Lafayette, and many expect Cajun Field to draw a good crowd. Napier hopes the fans can play a factor.
