The Saints could be in trouble again dealing with COVID-19 protocols, according to NFL Network.
The league reportedly found video of a non-employee in the Saints facility who turned out to be positive, and was in contact with star running back Alvin Kamara before the Saints week 17 contest versus the Panthers. Kamara was ruled out later in the week with COVID-19, and several other RBs on the roster were also out due to contact tracing.
This would be the Saints 3rd violation, and potentially their stiffest penalty yet. The club has already been fined $750,000 and a 7th round draft pick for their previous two violations. Head Coach Sean Payton was also fined $100,000 for not wearing his mask properly in the 1st violation.
