Wide Receiver Michael Thomas and the Saints are progressing toward a contract extension, according to ESPN.
New Orleans is reportedly comfortable making him the highest pay wide receiver in the NFL, which would be over 18 million a year.
Thomas is coming off a career year, where he had a franchise record 125 receptions and 1,406, on the way to achieving first team All-Pro.
The Saints hope to have the deal done before training camp in August.
