NEW ORLEANS (KATC) – ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the New Orleans Saints and Pro Bowl defensive end Cameron Jordan have agreed to an extension.

The deal would keep Jordan in New Orleans through 2023 and is worth a reported $52.5 million.

The former first round pick is entering his ninth season in the league. Last year he recorded 12 sacks. It marked the fourth time in his career he’s recorded double-digit sacks. In eight seasons he’s recorded 71.5 career sacks and nine forced fumbles.

Jordan is a four-time Pro Bowl selection.
