LAFAYETTE (KATC) This fall marks the second year Football “N” America will be played in Lafayette.
Drew Brees’s flag-football league has grown by miles since it’s inception two years ago. This season Brees expects a dozen leagues to play in Louisiana.
“It’s really been a passion of ours in establishing what we feel like will be the gold standard of flag football in this country,” he said. “Here we are two years in and we’re going to have 12 leagues in Louisiana, which is pretty awesome. To know that it’s expanding through the state.”
Brees spent more than 30-minutes taking questions from parents and players of the Lafayette league. Drew even had to dodge retirement questions from some of his youngest fans.
After taking pictures and meeting each kid, Drew spent 15-minutes with the media where he discussed FNA, Gerald McCoy, Undersized quarterbacks and Zion Williamson, of course. Hear his thoughts below.
