The Lord of the Rings trilogy had three rings. The Lord of college football does too.
LSU players unboxed their championship rings Tuesday night, and bling, bling, that's a lot of stones.
The three rings come from the SEC, College Football Playoffs, and school. The CFP ring, usually pretty much rubber-stamped has custom purple stones, something a school release said was a first.
The LSU ring, which pays tribute to the school's history and historic championship season is emblazoned with several phrases including one of coach Ed Orgeron's catchphrases, "Hold That Tiger."
