BATON ROUGE (KATC) – For many years now, one of the themes going into the LSU spring game is what improvement will the Tigers offense make entering next year?

New passing game coordinator Joe Brady has certainly created buzz, with talk of LSU inserting run pass options and a high flying spread attack. But fans shouldn’t expect to see too many secrets out the bag Saturday.

“We’re not gonna show everything. It’s gonna be a very basic spring game. Get our guys out there. Show some things we’ve been doing,” said Ed Orgeron. “Steve Ensminger has done a tremendous job of transferring this offense from a spread offense to a power offense. Joe brady has done a tremendous job. The key is Joe Burrow. WE have a QB that can run the offense. Make the plays. Joe Burrow has looked better.”

Kickoff for the spring game is set for 1 pm. That’s only the start of a full day for LSU athletics. Including an LSU Baseball game vs Texas A&M and LSU Gymnastics competing in the NCAA Regional.
