Errol Rogers finds himself in a new, yet familiar position this fall. Rogers is LCA's starting quarterback.
In 2017, Rogers stepped in at quarterback for an injured Zach Clement and led LCA to a Division IV championship. And even though he'll play at receiver next season with the Ragin' Cajuns, this year he will start at quarterback.
"I know all the routes. I know how corners and safeties line up," he said. "As a quarterback, I know what they want to do and I can teach receivers if they do this, you can do that."
Rogers won't just be LCA's quarterback, but also takes on the role of leader. A position he won't take lightly.
"We know he puts in his work," said assistant coach Jacarde Carter. "But taking a guy, taking guys with him now. Lead the team, as opposed to just himself."
