Jack Bech and Walker Howard light up De La Salle, as STM repeats as Division II champions, winning 35-28.
Howard threw for 381 yards, 4 touchdowns and an interception, while Bech caught 10 passes, for a Division II championship record 232 yards and two scores, still St. Thomas More needed its defense late.
Up 35-28 with the Cavaliers knocking on the door, STM held De La Salle on fourth down, taking over on downs in the final minute. DLS running back Montrell Jonhson rushed for 182 yards and four touchdowns.
The championship is St. Thomas More's second-consecutive and third as a school.
