LAFAYETTE — Suspended LCA football coach Trev Faulk is back with the Knights, on what appears to be a limited basis.
Faulk watched from the coaches box as the Knights beat Westgate in week 1, 7-0.
The LHSAA suspended Faulk, who led LCA to back-to-back titles, because he was not a faculty member at LCA, breaking a league policy. When asked about Faulk's status, LCA declined comment and directed all questions towards the LHSAA. At time of publication the LHSAA had not responded to our request for comment.
LHSAA directorEddie Bonine told our partners at the Advocate this week that the league would not comment on Faulk until an agreement was formalized.
LCA hosts Northside Friday night.
