Port Barre was once a power on the gridiron in Acadiana.
The Red Devils were state champs in 2002 and district contenders throughout the 2000s.
Four wins over the last 3 years makes that time seem very distant but Port Barre is ready to right the ship.
"We have 4 of 5 backs," Port Barre Head Coach Craig Stevens. "A quarterback that can run. Kyeron (Malveaux) is dual threat so he can throw and run so I think he's going to give some teams some problems."
