CROWLEY — Notre Dame owns one of the craziest stats in Acadiana.
For the Pios graduating seniors in 2019, that group of seniors didn't lose a regular season game during their career.
That run also included two state titles, in 2015 and 2018. In total, Notre Dame has 6 championships
If the Pioneers can repeat in 2019, they would complete an accomplishment that's never been achieved before in program history. Repeat Championships.
"It's definitely one of our main goals to go back to back," Notre Dame DT Daniel Gielen said. "(But we) try not to let all the hype get to our heads. Just play how we've been playing."
"We've been hearing it for so long from the people around town," Notre Dame QB Ben Broussard explained. "Our coaches want us to keep our mindset straight. Our tunnel vision, one game at a time, one practice at a time. Get better every day. Eventually that will be our main goal to get there like it is every year, and win it."
