LAKE ARTHUR — Lake Arthur had one of it's more talented squads in 2018.
The Tigers saw that develop into a 6-4 record in the regular season, but they couldn't find their way out of the 1st round of the 2A playoffs.
Lake Arthur may be without a few key contributors from last year, but with a better chemistry, The Tigers may be ready for a deeper run.
The Tigers will have their work cut out for them though, as District 5-2A now holds 3 recent state champs (LCA, Notre Dame and Welsh).
"Compete every game means come out with toughness," Lake Arthur RB Torrell Levias said. "It's a game of football. You want to come out with an attitude. You want to come out and compete. It's as simple as that."
2018 Record: 6-5
Head Coach: Mark Deshotel
Returning Starters: 12
District: 5-2A
Other Notes: RBs Torrell Levias and Daylon Charles combined for over 2,000 yards from scrimmage.
