November 9th,2018 is a date that no one in the town of Gueydan will forget anytime soon.
That's the day the bears won their first playoff game in at least a decade, if not longer. That result has left a lingering effect of confidence with the program.
After losing a large senior class, the hope this year will fall on a group of 25 players for the Bears. While that could create depth concerns, the hunger to build on their 7-4 season is still strong.
"We have a lot of confidence in ourselves," Bears Senior Cameron Istre said. "We're going to push, we're going to work hard. We're going to take a step further no matter if we lost or we gained."
