ERATH — The start to the Eric LeBlanc era for Erath Football was a rocky one at first in 2018.
The Bobcats were 0-5, with all five losses by double-digits, before entering district play. Then Erath reeled off 4 wins in their last 5 regular season games to make the playoffs.
All due to a change in philosophy.
"We understood that we needed to run the ball to win ball games," LeBlanc said. "Our O-Line took ownership of it. To where, hey its on me. They figured that out. Was it too late? Obviously. Was it my fault? absolutely."
Leblanc taking full accountability for the slow start, but now that the Bobcats know the ground game is their bread and butter, Erath feels this season should be satisfying.
