James Shiver- Head Coach
2019 Record: 6-4
District: 5-1A

St. Edmund won 19 games over two years between 2017-2018. When James Shiver took over as head coach of the Blue Jay's last year, he knew that success wouldn't roll over to him.

"I was pleased with how we turned out. We got better as the season went on. Even after losing Clay, we got stronger and stronger as the season went on," said head coach James Shiver.

After starting the regular season 1-2, the Blue Jays then went on to win five of their next six games, punching their ticket to the playoffs.

After a first-round exit against Southern Lab, coach Shiver wants to continue building up his team to go even further.

"Seeing our seniors work hard and getting us to the position we were in last year, it helped out our team coming into this year because we want that number one position this year," said sophomore running back Kieran Davis.

To sweeten the deal for St. Edmund, they get a fresh start with a healthy quarterback Clay Miller who is back after an ACL tear he endured in week 4.

“I’m very confident in what we got. Clay is returning we got a good running back KD. Clay is a good quarterback and we got a solid line and we’re going to have a solid defense this year" said senior left guard Preston Cormier.
