Acadiana has a long history of being the powerhouse in high school football and knows how to get back into a routine after winning a state championship.
"Normally, it might be a little different after winning a state championship, but we've been gone for so long coming back, and it's kind of been a different type of offseason," said head coach Matt McCullough.
Even with COVID-19 shaking things up for the Wreckin Rams, Head Coach Matt McCullough says this group knows how to bounce back.
"We try to focus on ourselves getting better. We try not to worry about other teams. We try to stay focused on what we have to do and the jobs we have to maintain throughout the game. Just work hard throughout the week of practice and preparation," said senior defensive end Cameron George.
The reigning 5A State Champions know there's a lot of pressure when you have a perfect season. The Wrecking Rams are taking it day by day but are setting the bar even higher, trying to repeat program history by calling themselves back-to-back state champions for the second time.
"I want to finish off at the top, so going out with another ring, that would be the best feeling ever," said senior linebacker Derreck Bercier.
