Kayshon Boutte is a dual athlete, running track and playing football for Westgate high school. The senior has set records in both sports, including clocking 21.3 in the 200m, the second fastest time in the country.

“Running track was something I did growing up since I was seven,” said Kayshon Boutte. I always looked forward to it. I was fast at the time so I just wanted to get better.”

It might be track season, but Boutte’s real passion is football. The senior wide receiver is LSU’s top recruit and has been the main force behind Westgate’s offense. Boutte’s senior year included his best game against Tuerlings when he had over 300 yards with 5 touchdowns.

“Leaving Westgate, I feel like I left a lot behind and set a good example for the younger people,” said Boutte. It’s something to always look back at for the future.”
