Crowley native, Brother Martin, will be representing the state of Louisiana in the first ever Big Bass Junior Championship in Idaho in October.
Martin attends Notre Dame High School and is a member of the bass fishing team.
Entering his 4th year on the team, Martin has made two national championship appearances, and recently caught the biggest fish in Henderson Lake thus far.
“You have to catch one fish and the biggest fish from each state goes to the tournament," said Senior Brother Martin. “Whoever catches the biggest fish over there wins a boat. I actually caught a 5.75 here, so that's what got me there."
