A team that started off rough ended up being a real threat in district 4-A. A lot of that success has to do with senior quarterback, Gavan Courville.
"Starting off with the jamboree it was pretty rough, a big learning experience with a lot of new guys, myself included," said Courville. "One big new picture but we're putting the pieces together and turned out to be a pretty scary team."
The senior has exceeded expectations for the tigers, breaking the school's passing record, which stood at 2,093 yards. With Courville egineering the offense, Breaux Bridge is currently preparing for their semi-final match-up against Edna Karr.
